He may not be on Days of Our Lives anymore, but Peter Reckell is sending a heartfelt message to his TV dad John Aniston. It’s the senior actor’s birthday and Reckell is sending out his very best!
DAYS fan Angie Marino posted in honor of Aniston’s 85th birthday earlier this week a video tribute to his character, Victor Kiriakis, specifically related to his relationship with son Bo (Peter Reckell).
The clips include the climactic moment in which Caroline (Peggy McCay) blurts out the truth of Bo’s paternity to her son in an effort to keep Bo from killing his own pop!
Other scenes include Bo pointing out to Victor that he had tried to kill him in Miami. Victor counters that he didn’t know Bo was his son then — and Bo asks if that would have made it all right?

Additionally, there’s even a clip that shows the progression of the father/son dynamic over the decades. Bo may be dead, but viewers still can’t help but wonder if he’ll someday be resurrected as so many DAYS characters have been.
As you can see in the posts below, Reckell responds to Marino’s tweet, adding in his own sentiments about Aniston.
