Fans of Lamon Archey and his Days of Our Lives character Eli should mark their calendars and start planning now because your fave will be taking on a new, exciting role in less than a month — and you’ll be able to see him do it as he performs onstage in Texas.
The day is November 23 in Dallas in the play, I Deserve Your Family. The handsome actor announced the news on Instagram and it will be an amazing opportunity for fans to watch a new side of the talented actor.
The Music Hall at Fair Park is the venue and his co-stars for the evening include Brad James from A House Divided, as well as Keshia Knight Pulliam of The Cosby Show.
Oh, The Drama
The play is about a tangled web that is woven when a scandalous affair results in more than mistrust, betrayal, and heartbreak. In other words, it sounds like it may be right up the alley of any soap fan. If you want to get tickets, which cost $32.50, click here.
As for his day job over at Days of our Lives, it looks like Archey is about to get some extremely meaty material if Gabi (Camila Banus) makes good on her threat that forces Lani (Sal Stowers) to break Eli’s heart in exchange for not blowing up Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes).
Gabi wants Lani to leave Eli at the altar and if that happens, it will come out of nowhere for the current police commissioner. It is supposed to be the happiest day of their lives — will it be? Or will Gabi get her wish and turn their happiness into a horrible nightmare for her simple amusement? Stay tuned. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
