Days of Our Lives Star Jen Lilley Wins Court Battle To Adopt Her Second Son

Days of our Lives fans have been following Jen Lilley’s career and life since the actress first appeared as Theresa Donovan, daughter of supercouple Shane Donovan and Kimberly Brady, back in 2013. The popular actress got involved with fostering and went on to adopt one of the boys she and her husband cared for. But they wanted to adopt his brother too.

The actress/singer described the ordeal as having felt like it had gone on and on and on. “After what feels like 1,001 continuances, we are told today is the day we finally find out if our boys are staying together,” she wrote, asking also for prayers for them and Baby J. It wasn’t too long before she shared the incredible update.

“They ruled in our favor!!!!!!!! The brothers will stay together!!!!! #Adoption here we come 🥰😭❤️ Thank you all SO much for the prayers and support!!! Seriously, they mean SO much to @jasonthewayne and me! I was a mess of emotions heading into court today, but knowing I had a spiritual army behind us gave me peace,” she shared.

The actress is known for having a big heart and while it was filled with love for her growing family, she also knew that her gain was someone else’s loss — so she had one more thing to ask of her followers. “Love you all so very very much. Please pray for biomom and biodad especially now. Losing your child is devastating.”

In addition to the two brothers she and her husband have adopted, Lilley gave birth to her daughter Julie Evangeline last July. With baby J’s adoption now settled, he joins Julie and his biological brother Kayden, who was officially adopted back on June 10. Soap Hub sends congratulations to the entire family.
