All the key players know that Brady and Kristen’s daughter Rachel is alive on Days of Our Lives. But that doesn’t mean the drama is over! In fact, it’s just beginning.
Eric Martsolf: A Messy Soapy Story
Eric Martsolf (Brady) recently shared his thoughts on this dynamic, umbrella tale in an interview. “There are a lot of characters that are affected by this and relationships are going to be ripped to shreds as a result of the deceit – Maggie’s (Suzanne Rogers) world is just crushed,” Martsolf told TV Insider.
“Everyone is a player in this. It’s not just two people who found out that their baby is alive. It’s a giant cast of characters across the spectrum who will find their lives completely overturned. I love it.”
One dynamic that will play out is the one between Brady and his own grandfather, Victor (John Aniston), who knew about the baby switch and kept quiet.
“Brady will have disdain for his grandfather whom he’s been at odds with…He let his grandson think that his baby had died. This will carry on throughout the coming weeks. [Brady’s] not going to take this well. It’s going to be bad.”
Does Kristen Regress?
And let’s not forget Kristen (Stacy Haiduk). She’s not someone to cross under the best of circumstances. It’s not difficult to imagine how she’ll respond to those who caused her such heartache. “Brady asks her to please quietly stay in her cage,” wryly notes Martsolf. “He’s familiar with what this woman is capable of. Even though she’s on her journey to reformation, and she has redeemed herself in many people’s eyes. Does a tiger truly change its stripes? That’s debatable.”
Watch for Brady to tell Kristen to say put and he recommends that they celebrate their joy. “Not to his surprise,” Martsolf sighs, “he’ll return to their room and find out she is not there. It’s pretty horrific what she does…” What’s Kristen going to do? Don’t miss an episode to find out! Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. Check local listings for air times.”
