DAYS Star Christie Clark Celebrates Amazing Milestone

While Days of Our Lives fans miss Christie Clark terribly as Carrie, the actress has a lot to celebrate.

That’s because the beautiful actress was born on December 13, 1973, in Placentia, California, which means she’s turning 45 years old today! She was two younger siblings, Kevin and Katie, and was Homecoming Princess of El Dorado High School in 1989.

Having acted since she was a pre-teen, one of her first jobs was a horror! Well, actually in a horror flick– A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge. But very soon after that, she scored the role that would endear her to DAYS fans everywhere! She took over the role of Carrie Brady back in 1986.

But she had time for more than just smacking Sami around. She appeared in primetime shows like Hardcastle and McCormick, The Magical World of Disney, It’s Garry Shandling’s Show, and Life Goes On. She also appeared in several films, including Children of the Corn II: The Final Sacrifice and the TV movie Changes.

In 1992, she also played Cindy on General Hospital.

On the personal front, she studied acting at the Royal Academy, where she met and fell in love with a Brit, Thomas Barnes.

The two have been married since August 31, 2002, and they have three children. She also created the Monkeywench clothing line for women who go snowboarding.
