It was supposed to be a happy day, full of celebration for former Days of Our Lives (DOOL) star Arianne Zucker, but it took a horribly sad turn.
Zucker celebrated her 44th birthday this past Sunday, June 3, and while she was thrilled to be getting so many birthday wishes from fans on Twitter, she had to let everyone know some sad news.
The actress shared that she said goodbye to her loyal dog, Winston. There is little harder than losing a furry family member, especially for children and Zucker’s daughter, Isabella, is only eight years old.
Zucker is known for being quite an animal lover and even considered becoming a veterinarian at one point in her life.
There is some good news for Zucker. She shot the second season of Ladies of the Lake: Return to Avalon with ex-husband, Kyle Lowder (ex-Brady, soon to be airing on the show again) and it will be released exclusively on Amazon. The show will drop on June 19.
According to her IMDB page, the actress has finished shooting three films. There’s Kill The Babysitter, which is pretty self-explanatory.
The second movie, Blind at 17, has Zucker and her onscreen daughter return to her childhood town but all is not as it seems with a helpful man from her past.
The last one is We Still Say Grace with Oscar nominated Bruce Davison. It’s about the teenage daughter of a religious fanatic who has a delusional suicide pact for the family. She wants to flee when three strangers break down near their remote farmhouse.
Soap Hub sends condolences to Zucker and her family for the loss of Winston.
Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
