Life’s gotten better for Nicole lately on Days of Our Lives. She took a gamble spilling the beans on Rachel being alive, but it seems to be paying off. Eric, likewise, is slowly coming to find peace.
Arianne Zucker: All About Nicole
On today’s Days of Our Lives, Nicole, Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Holly bonded as a family when the little girl asked if she could call Eric “Dad.” “Now, finally, after all these 21-plus years, Eric and Nicole finally have a family,” Zucker tells Soap Hub, adding with a wry tone, “For today anyway, you know how soaps are.”
On a more serious note, Zucker shares her thoughts on how far Nicole has come. “She’s starting to trust Eric and he’s trusting who she is,” the actress says. “Having this little girl trumps everything. She’s allowed this baby to bring out an honesty in her that she’s never really had.”
Off-screen, Arianne Zucker is rising to the coronavirus challenge that’s entered everyone’s lives. The Emmy-nominee says that her family is being cautious while adapting to the change and looking with hope to the future. “We’re handling it great,” she says. “We’re an adaptable family. We abide by the rules…we embrace change as strange as this all is.
“We try to make sure our environment is healthy,” Zucker continues. “It’s hard to have playdates for my kiddo [daughter, Isabella, whose father is Kyle Lowder, who plays Rex]. But you can do bike rides [with friends if you stay] 6 feet apart.
“That’s how we’re living life. It’s not the same but it’s a human connection in some way. There are Google chat rooms and Izzy is doing her school work on Zoom. She meets every morning with her teacher. She’ll get through the 4th grade. We’ll see where we are in the fall.” Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. Check local listings for air times.
