After everything that’s happened, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve (Stephen Nichols) still can’t believe they haven’t been able to rescue Joey. It’s been quite a year for the young man as he’s needed more help out of danger than any teen around. Kayla can barely stand it anymore and finally breaks down in Steve’s arms. Will this FINALLY be the crisis that brings these two back together for good?

Happiness Can Never Find Hope
Hope (Kristian Alfonso) thought she’d finally have a life of togetherness with Rafe (Galen Gering) and washed her hands of Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove). Of course, Aiden didn’t wash his hands of her and thinks blackmailing her to get her back is just the ticket. When Aiden insists that they meet, she fears what he has in store. Deep down she seems to know that Aiden has the proof that she killed Stefano.
What’s Chloe’s Secret?
Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) realizes any relationship hopes she had with Philip (John-Paul Lavoiser) are over now that he knows Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) didn’t father her baby. However, she seems to know what’s really going on and decides it’s best to let Philip go. Meanwhile, Nicole (Arianne Zucker) realizes Deimos may have had a part in this mystery and confronts him about his shady behavior. She would love it if he’d stop obsessing over Chloe but knows it’s hard to get Deimos to stop obsessing over anything.
