Days of our Lives spoilers for Thursday, May 9, 2019, reveal a day of twists and turns as Jack and Abe make their final bids for Mayor.

It’s time for Salemites to hit the polls and cast their ballots. It’s down to Abe (James Reynold) and Jack (Matthew Ashford) and so far, it is anyone’s game. Only one man will walk away with the Mayor’s seat and Abe prays he can keep a hold of his position.

True to form, Eve (Kassie DePaiva) has a few last minute tricks up her sleeve. With the help of Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan), she has a final blow to Abe’s entire campaign. Once she has evidence in hand it will be game on!

Is what Eve has enough to turn the voters Jack’s way? Salemites see scandals day in day out so this better be a head turner. This needs to be explosive so everyone will notice.

Eve is not the only one with a head-turning trick. Jen (Melissa Reeves) returns from her trip and runs straight into Jack. She has a few choice words for her ex and something she says hits him right in the heart. Will it be enough to stir up some deep seeded memories? Let’s hope so!

Over at the hospital, another kind of drama unfolds. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) delivers a devastating blow to Will (Chandler Massey) and Sonny (Freddie Smith). They have a long road ahead and this news will absolutely break their hearts.
