Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Heartbreak Ahead

Empowered after talking with Doug (Bill Hayes) and Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes), Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) decides to fight for custody of her grandson. She feels that Chad (Billy Flynn) is in no condition to care for his son, and believes she is what is best for Thomas. But, both are still hurting over Abigail’s disappearance.

If only the two could deal with their feelings and come together for the baby. This is not the case though, and Chad remains adamant that he wants to be the one to raise his son. The custody battle heats up. Chad could end up using Jennifer’s past drug addiction against her in court, causing an irreparable rift. Who knows what could happen to Thomas if Abby remains missing?

Old Wounds
Working at the mental institution puts Ciara (Vivian Jovanni) close to Chase (Jonathon McClendon). It has been a while since the step-siblings have seen each other. Today, Ciara confronts Chase about everything he’s done to her and lets him know she will never forgive him for raping her. What he did to her was beyond the pale.

The Walls Close In
Ciara’s words aren’t the only ones playing over in his mind. Chase has to consider his actions and come to terms with all of the things he has done. It becomes too much for Chase, and he has meltdown. Will he ever be able to live with himself?
