Days of Our Lives spoilers (DOOL) for Wednesday, December 20 reveal JJ deeper trouble than anyone ever thought as he contemplates ending it all. Get ready for a heartbreaking episode with a very special guest!
Unforgivable Act
Despite internal affairs clearing him of wrongdoing, JJ (Casey Moss) doesn’t feel any better about what happened to Theo (Kyler Pettis).
He didn’t need Abe (James Reynolds) to rip into him the way he did – he already felt tremendous guilt and frankly agrees with Abe that he should pay for what he did.
While others may think he deserves to be let off the hook, JJ isn’t one of them and the fact the police force isn’t making him pay has only made JJ feel even more despondent.
Guilt-ridden, JJ takes steps to right the wrong himself.
Letting Go
He thinks he knows what to do about this tremendous weight on his heart, so he writes goodbye letters to his loved ones. He also gives away his possessions as he prepares to take a drastic step.
After all, it’s not like he’ll be needing any of that where he is going.

He knows how much his mom means to him and can only imagine what losing him will do to her. Could she learn to go on without him? She’d still have his sister, Abigail (Marci Miller), who he knows would miss him too.
Father Knows Best
But perhaps the memories that bring him the most strength will be those of his late father, Jack (Matthew Ashford). Could conjuring up the spirit and love of beloved dad be what keeps JJ from doing this horrible thing to himself?
Can Jack give his son the greatest gift of all?
