Days of our Lives spoilers for Thursday, April 9, 2020, promise a day of tears, emotional bombshells, and a terrible truth emerges. Sarah’s world spins out of control and everyone waits on pins and needles as Steve comes out of surgery. Make sure to tune in because this is one episode you will not want to miss.

Days of our Lives Spoiler Highlights

It’s the day of Sarah’s (Linsey Godfrey) wedding and she’s on cloud nine, or at least that’s the way her day will start. She’ll don her dress, go over her vows, and get ready to walk down the aisle. Unfortunately, instead of getting married, she’ll be getting a horrible reality check.

Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and Eric (Greg Vaughan) stop the bride-to-be and sit her down for a heartbreaking talk. What they are about to tell her will destroy her life. It would be much, much worse if she was Xander’s wife on top of it all.

Make sure you have a box of tissues with you for these emotional scenes. Sarah’s entire life is about to turn upside down and she will never be the same after this.

Lies Destroy Lives

As for Xander, he’ll have no idea the truth is out and gets himself ready to become Sarah’s husband. He and Victor (John Aniston) will share some touching moments as they prepare for Xander’s big moment. It’s just too bad his happiness will come crashing down around him.

Kayla Prays For Steve

Meanwhile, over at the hospital, Steve (Stephen Nichols) is out of surgery and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) worries if she did enough. Will he wake up as Patch or The Phoenix? Will Kayla get the love of her life back? She hopes so and she vows to not leave the room until he wakes up and she gets her answers.

Watching Kayla keep vigil by her ex’s side hits Justin (Wally Kurth) in the heart. He knows it’s only a matter of time before he loses her. In fact, he can not even begin to imagine trying to keep her if Steve is really back and here for good. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
