We haven’t seen Chase much of late on “Days of Our Lives” but we know right where he lurks in a hospital right outside Salem.
Something Just Wasn’t Right…
Since Chase arrived in town as a small boy, we always knew something was off. His father claimed he caused his mother’s death, but we’re never sure when Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) tells the truth. We tried to give the child the benefit of the doubt, and when he became a SORAS’d and orphaned teen, we took pity on him.
However, we soon learn he was Theo’s bully. And then, all teen angst hell broke loose when he raped Ciara Brady (Vivian Jovanni) on Alice Horton’s couch. While we applaud the talents of actor, Jonathon McClendon, we really wanted to say so long to Chase.
Despite infrequent appearances since the rape, we finally learned last week Chase would likely appear no more. McClendon tweeted that he hasn’t worked on the show in months, saying how it was nice to work for NBC.
Soap Hub asked if you’ll miss Chase after all he’s done and you made you thoughts clear in no uncertain terms.

Out of nearly 7,000 votes, 90% of you won’t miss Chase at all. To you, he’s as disturbed and villainous as his father, and you wish they’d both go far, far away. You want him out of Ciara and Hope’s lives once and for all.
Reformed Rapists?
A smaller 7% of you feel some sympathy for the young man. Yes, he raped Ciara, but he feels regret, and he wouldn’t be the first reformed daytime racist by a long shot. You want to see more character development, rater than a Chase departure.
One Chapter OVER
The final 3% don’t care at all. Chase makes such infrequent appearances that it hardly matters. Now, it’s just official, and you can turn this Jennings page.
