The Days of our Lives recaps for May 3-7, 2021, features Gwen telling a tale, Belle and Shawn solving a mystery, Kristen and Sami proving to be their own worst enemies, and so much more.
Days of our Lives Recaps Highlight
Gwen (Emily O’Brien) was rushed to the University Hospital and treated for the injuries she sustained during her fall. Dr. Snyder was taken aback when he learned that Gwen had yet to inform anyone of her miscarriage, but she insisted that she would tell her family in due course.
Later, Gwen informed Chad (Billy Flynn) that she lost their baby girl – though she purposefully allowed him to believe that the event coincided with her tumble down the staircase.
When Abigail (Marci Miller) entered the room and offered her condolences, Gwen spitefully claimed that Abby had shoved her during their argument – an accusation that Abby strenuously denied.
Jealousy Is One Hell Of A Drug
At Rafe’s (Galen Gering) urging, he and Ava (Tamara Braun) set down and discussed their kiss. The two concurred that they had feelings for one another, and plans were made for a romantic night out.
When Rafe shared the news with Nicole (Arianne Zucker), she admitted to being jealous – but only because she’s missing Eric (Greg Vaughan). As a way of apology for her reaction, Nicole agreed to help Ava shop for an outfit for her date.
Marlena (Deidre Hall), Shawn (Brandon Beemer), and Belle (Martha Madison) bandied about the theory that Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) could have been behind Melinda’s (Tina Huang) obtaining the recording of John’s (Drake Hogestyn) hypnosis session – and Belle concluded that her old nemesis may have been the one who framed her for Charlie’s (Mike Manning) murder in the first place.
In hopes of gathering evidence, she and Shawn consulted Dr. Snyder, then demanded access to the hospital’s surveillance cameras. The tapes offered definitive proof that Jan had emerged from her coma far earlier than assumed, but Shawn cautioned that it wouldn’t be enough to convince Melinda to drop the charges against Belle.
A newly destitute Chanel (Precious Way) arrived at Lani’s (Sal Stowers) door, suitcase in hand, and begged for shelter. Lani denied the request, at first. But after much prodding, she finally relented and gave Chanel permission to stay.
All Good Things…
While Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) busied herself with preparing Kate (Lauren Koslow) for her transport to DiMera Island, Brady (Eric Martsolf) traveled to Statesville in order to talk with the woman he assumed to be his lover.
However, Susan (Stacy Haiduk) wound up giving her true identity away, which sent Brady into hysterics. He calmed down enough to beg Susan’s continued indulgence while he raced back to Salem to convince Kristen to turn herself in.
In a tragic twist of fate, he and Kristen wound up crashing into one another whilst traversing the same stretch of highway!
The Old College Try
When Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) informed him that she’d rescheduled his appointment with the brain specialist, a panicked Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) phoned Sami (Alison Sweeney) and warned that it was up to her to remedy the situation.
The quick-thinking schemer donned her old “Stan the Man” disguise and used it to impersonate the doctor that Chloe had contacted. But just when it seemed that Sami’s charade had paid off, Chloe remembered interacting with “Stan” sixteen years previous and deduced that the pair had been scamming her.
I Kissed A Girl
Allie (Lindsay Arnold) reunited with Chanel, whom she had first met during her time abroad, and agreed to accompany her to a booze-filled lunch. The two reminisced about days long past, and Chanel surprised Allie by leaning in for a kiss…an act which greatly surprised Tripp (Lucas Adams) who’d come looking for Allie. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
