Days of our Lives Weekly Recap

The Days of our Lives recaps for June 21-25, 2021, feature Gwen Rizczech and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) in hot water, Chloe Lane at her most desirable, and the entire DiMera family up in arms.

Days of our Lives Recaps Highlight

After trying, and failing, to convince Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) that there’s nothing wrong with the hospital pharmacy’s pill count, Dr. Snyder (Michael Lowry) made his way to the Horton house and presented Gwen (Emily O’Brien) with her next drug delivery.

She bristled at continuing to act as Snyder’s mule, and he, in turn, threatened and manhandled her. Xander stepped in, considered inflicting severe bodily harm to the villain, but eventually acquiesced to Gwen’s plea that he not make the situation worse.

However, upon being released, Snyder promptly succumbed to a fear-induced heart attack! Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) arrived on the scene minutes later, though she assumed the man was a drunk acquittance of the pair. Following a run-in with Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) – father of the female manslaughterer, and best friend of the male – Xander and Gwen are eventually able to transport Snyder’s body off the property.

Blind Woman’s Bluff

“Blind amnesiac” Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow) continued to relish torturing former flame Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash), and his current squeeze Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) – but former stepson Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) stood poised to end her fun.

He insisted that she side with him and his siblings – EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) and Tony (Thaao Penghlis) – in their bid to oust Jake as head of the family company…but she knew that such an act would harden Jake’s heart. When she declined his “request,” Chad warned that he’d out her scam.

DAYS Recaps: Chemical Ex

Chloe luxuriated in her new surroundings at the Kiriakis mansion, but her reverie was eventually dispelled by the constant bickering between Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).

Brady tried to tempt Chloe to return to work at Basic Black – lest he and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) not have to suffer so while toiling alongside Xander – and Philip attempted to entice her with a job offer at Titan.

Yay Or Nay

At the board meeting to determine whether Jake would remain as CEO of DiMera Enterprises, or be displaced, Kate found herself the center of attention – her vote would decide the issue. And in a stunning turn of events, she votes in favor of removing Jake and reinstalling Chad into the top spot.

DOOL Recaps: Turn About Is Fair Play

When Nicole admitted that she’s being harassed by Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney), Xander encouraged her to find something that she could hold over her rival’s head. He even helped her along by insinuating that Sami had cheated on EJ with her ex-husband, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo).

Brady chanced upon the pair’s exchange and overheard Xander say that he and Nicole had been intimate. He later asked Nicole for a full account of what transpired.

Moments, Fraught, and Otherwise

Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) both shared details of their night of passion – he with good buddy Roman Brady (Josh Taylor), and she with niece, and god-daughter Lani Grant (Sal Stowers). Lani gives her blessing to the new couple.

Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Chanel Price (Precious Way) successfully sold their take on Alice’s donuts to Julie, then shared yet another close moment.

Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) indulged in a fantasy starring himself and Nicole – despite sleeping in the arms of his current squeeze, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun). Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
