At Chad’s (Billy Flynn) urging, Abigail (Marci Miller) returned to the Horton house determined to make peace with her sister. But upon crossing the threshold, she overheard Gwen (Emily O’Brien) admit that she’s pregnant…with her brother-in-law’s child!

An incredulous Abby insisted that if such a baby did exist, then Gwen should abort it in order to spare the family any further grief – then she retired to the DiMera mansion where she informed Chad that he was soon to become a father.

The Smoking…Button?

During a briefing with D.A. Trask (Tina Huang), Rafe (Galen Gering) was forced to admit that solving the Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) murder case may hinge on finding the owner of a red coat that’s missing a button identical to the one found at the crime scene.

Following a conversation with Belle (Martha Madison) – who’s gone behind his back and signed a quid-pro-quo deal with Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) – Rafe notices that she’s in possession of a red coat with a missing button…

The Complicated Morning After

Sami (Alison Sweeney) and Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) awoke after their night of passion and immediately regretted their actions. Sami in particular was devastated that she had yet again cheated on a man she was married to.

Despite their attempt to keep the affair under wraps, the two were caught by Kristen (Stacy Haiduk)…but she was more than happy to keep their secret from her brother. If only Sami and Lucas didn’t mind helping her keep Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) as far apart as possible!

The Final Sticking Point

Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) continued to bemoan his wife’s condition, which resulted in Jake (Brandon Barash), once again, touting the benefits of using Rolf’s (William Utay) memory serum.

Ben eventually requested a dose – which Kate (Lauren Koslow) happily provided – and he made his way into Ciara’s (Victoria Konefal) hospital room intending to inject her with the concoction.

Theo (Cameron Johnson) stopped Ben dead in his tracks, and once Ciara learned what he intended to do, she banished Ben from her life forever and always. Then she sought comfort in Theo’s arms.

All In The Family

At the conclusion of her search for Chanel (Precious Way), Paulina (Jackée Harry) made the acquaintance of “Greek God” Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), whom her daughter quickly claimed was her husband.

After proper introductions were made, and an explanation for the quickie wedding was provided, Paulina took her leave – and Xander informed his new bride that he wasn’t exactly the man she thinks him to be.

From The Heart

After being spurred on by Nicole (Arianne Zucker), Chloe confronted Brady and admitted that not only is she still in love with him, but she also wants him to dump Kristen and return to her. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
