Days of our Lives Recaps: Monday, December 27
A possessed Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) attempts to make a bargain with Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo): if he lets her go, she won’t tell Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) that he’s the one who kidnapped her. John Black (Drake Hogestyn) prays for a sign; Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) arrives at the penthouse soon after.
EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) brainstorm who could be framing him for Sami’s kidnapping…Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) share the news of their recent nuptials with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams). Allie reacts negatively, and Johnny accuses her of wanting Chanel all to herself.
DAYS Recaps: Tuesday, December 28
Eric reveals that he has returned to the priesthood. John, Sami, Allie, Johnny, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), and Belle Black (Martha Madison) join forces with Eric to exorcise the Devil from Marlena. Their efforts appear to bear fruit…Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) gifts Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) a bauble that complements the one she received on their honeymoon decades earlier.
DOOL Recaps: Wednesday, December 29
Eric visits Nicole and they part on warm terms…Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) stops by chez Horton and speaks with Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) on both Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) behalf…Xander surprises Maggie with the revelation that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) did not leave town with Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder). Maggie’s subsequent attempt to make contact with Sarah fails.

EJ begs Sami to hear his side of the story. By the time Sami arrives at Chez DiMera, Nicole is there speaking with EJ…Lucas infiltrates Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and EJ’s shared office with the intention of fabricating evidence against EJ. He is caught in the act by Chad.
Days of our Lives Recaps: Thursday, December 30
Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) and Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) attempt to recruit Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) to their side…Lucas persuades a dubious Chad that EJ is behind Sami’s kidnapping, and encourages him to confront his brother with the “proof” Lucas has uncovered; Chad does so; Sami takes her leave of EJ…Shin announces that EJ is being removed as co-CEO of DiMera effective immediately.
Nicole is chagrined to learn that EJ wants to reconcile with Sami…Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) overhears Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and Brady discussing Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Nicole’s one-night stand. In her anger, she decapitates Duke, Nicole and Rafe’s shared teddy bear.

Sami commits herself to a life with Lucas…Marlena makes amends to Tripp, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal)…Allie repairs her relationships with Chanel and Johnny…Johnny is the Devil’s new host.
