The Days of our Lives recaps for May 10-14, 2021, features Kristen’s plan going well and truly off the rails, Nicole making a big, big mistake, and so much more.
Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) learned that the car she ran off the road was being operated by Brady (Eric Martsolf), who was now a patient at University Hospital. She donned her Kate (Lauren Koslow) mask and made a beeline for her lover’s bedside…only to find that seat occupied by Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin).
Kristen’s attention momentarily returned to her need to locate and silence Kate, but when she failed to convince Sami (Alison Sweeney) to lend her assistance, Kristen wound up imprisoning her in the fortified DiMera wine room; and when Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) proved himself a potential spoiler, Kristen added him to her macabre collection as well.
Rafe (Galen Gering) and Ava (Tamara Braun) had a night on the town and settled in for a romantic evening at Julie’s Place. The date was briefly marred by a disapproving Steve (Stephen Nichols), who warned Rafe not to get ensnared in Ava’s trap. For her part, Ava made a heartfelt apology for the damage she caused and the havoc she wrought.
In response to the news that her husband will not be returning home as previously promised, Nicole (Arianne Zucker) stalked off to the Brady Pub where she found an all to willing drinking partner in Xander (Paul Telfer).
The buzzed twosome wound up retiring to Xander’s room at the Salem Inn, where they continued imbibing before ripping each other’s clothes off to have sex. Nicole regretted her decision coming morning, and soon after embarking on her walk of shame, she runs into Rafe.
Jake’s (Brandon Barash) first attempt to woo Gabi (Camila Banus) failed spectacularly…but his second, far more heartfelt one, proved mighty effective. After making love, the two pledged their love and devotion to one another and agreed to move forward as one… During another romantic clinch, the two are interrupted by Kate’s sudden appearance!
The disheveled Miss Roberts shared her harrowing story of survival, then left the reunited lovers to their own devices. Downstairs, Kate happened upon Chloe and “Susan” arguing, and she outed Kristen’s secret. In response, Kristen struck Kate with a fire poker and absconded with Chloe.
Allie (Lindsay Arnold) was slightly taken aback by the kiss planted on her by Chanel (Precious Way), and she insisted that she wasn’t gay. Chanel claimed that she wasn’t either. In fact, she’s not into labels, period.
Claire (Isabel Durant) and Tripp (Lucas Adams) eventually interrupted the girls’ evening out, first with the accusation that Chanel was trying to scam Allie out of free drinks, and then Tripp’s admission to having witnessed the smooch.
Tripp and Allie eventually leave the eatery together, and after he admits he could see a future where they’re a couple, they share a kiss all their own.
Brady pulled through his surgery with flying colors, and upon awakening, he told John (Drake Hogestyn) about Kristen’s escape from Statesville. The revelation greatly perturbed Marlena (Deidre Hall), especially in light of the fact that Sami, Lucas, and Chloe are all incommunicado.
A besotted Abe (James Reynolds) harbors suspicions that Paulina (Jackée Harry) won’t return to Salem, and Lani (Sal Stowers) doesn’t do much to put his mind at ease. The duo placed a call to the real-estate mogul, and during the catchup, Paulina learned that Lani had offered Chanel temporary housing.
After promising she’d be seeing her loved ones very soon, Paulina took a conspiratorial gander at a blueprint of Horton Town Square. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
