The Days of Our Lives recap for December 14-18, 2020, features Charlie’s true colors shining through, a DiMera family homecoming, and more.

Days of Our Lives Recap Highlights

Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) seemed like such a nice, unassuming guy. He was Clark Kent without the secret Superman side hustle. But then we learned that not only was he Allie’s (Lindsay Arnold) rapist, he’s also got a pretty violent streak.

Ava’s (Tamara Braun) currently a prisoner courtesy of her troubled offspring, but it will remain to be seen exactly how far Charlie’s willing to go to protect his secrets. He’s already got a few felonies under his belt. Might he add matricide to the rapidly growing list?

DAYS Musings

How excited were you to hear Anna (Leann Hunley) say that she and Tony (Thaao Penghlis) were not only here for Christmas but, “and beyond,” as well? Don’t you agree that it’s time for these two to stick around town on a permeant basis?

Also, how clever was it for Anna to immediately pick on the fact that something’s up with little Miss “Rice Chex”? It does take a schemer to recognize like.

And speaking of Gwen (Emily O’Brien), did you find her little ploy to subtly embarrass Jake (Brandon Barash) and Kate (Lauren Koslow) AND snag herself the diamond-encrusted bracelet meant for her exes new squeeze inspired or her most benign yet?

When Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes), Lucas (Bryan Dattilo), and Jennifer (Cady McClain) were wracking their brains to come up with names that began with the letter J – and weren’t Jack (Matthew Ashford0 – how in the world did all three of them forget Jake?

And speaking of the Jack/Jennifer roundabout, how teary-eyed did you get when Jenn finally forgave her husband and invited him into the house for Christmas Eve?

Though they seem especially happy to see one another now, do you think the goodwill and familial love between Tripp (Lucas Adams) and Joey (James Lastovic) will last? Or is it all too good to be true?

And how much humble pie do you expect Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) to consume once Tripp’s innocence in Allie’s rape case is established? Did her acquiescence to Tripp’s presence negate some of the damage done by her previous slights? Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
