The Days of Our Lives recap for Thursday, December 5, 2019, features a moment of truth for Sarah, an uncertain future for Nicole, and Marlena opening up about her roomie’s strange behavior.

It was a gut-wrenching day for Xander (Paul Telfer) when he heard about Eric’s demands. Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) gave him the rundown of the custody agreement and Eric’s shocking and stern terms. They can share Mickey but only if Xander never sees the little girl again.
Talk about a heartbreaker! Xander has loved Mickey since she was born and spent the last six months as daddy. Not only that, but he’s in love with Sarah too. Sarah wasn’t happy about the situation either but what can they do?
It was through tears they decided it was best for Xander to leave. But, when push came to shove and he went to walk out the door, Sarah pulled him in for a hot and heavy kiss.
A Day With Daddy
Meanwhile, Eric took Mickey around to show her off, starting with dropping by the pub. Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Roman (Josh Taylor) were smitten with her and joked about the troubles of raising girls.
Over at Basic Black, Nicole (Arianne Zucker) struggled with her new single status and a raging hangover. Thankfully, Brady (Eric Martsolf) was there with a cure for her headache and a shoulder to lean on. Brady urged Nicole to not give up on love. Later, they ran into Eric at the park and tried to talk sense into him but he wasn’t having it.

The Trouble With Hope
The police station was a hub of activity as Abigail (Kate Mansi) pushed to reopen her mom’s case. ‘Hope’ (Kristian Alfonso) was shockingly reluctant but Abby pushed and pushed until she got what she wanted.
The whole scene had Rafe on edge. Hope was always about justice so what’s different in this case? Gosh, she sure is acting weird.
He wasn’t the only one who’s noticed Hope isn’t quite herself. It was all Marlena (Deidre Hall) could talk about when she dropped in to see Jennifer (Melissa Reeves). Something was off and Marlena hoped they can figure out what is going on.
Talking about Hope brought Jennifer back to the day of her accident. This time, she remembered putting the USB port into the laptop. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
