The Days of Our Lives recap for Wednesday, May 7, 2020, features Maggie getting a brutal reality check, Sarah continuing to go ballistic, and Zoey going low to protect her brother.
Things went from bad to worse at the jail when Xander (Paul Telfer) told Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) all the sordid details of the baby swap. Hearing Sarah’s baby was really Kristen’s was terrible, but realizing the real Mickey died because of her drinking was a weight Maggie simply could not bear. She flew into a rage, slapped Xander for all his lies, and collapsed into a puddle of tears.
Things were no better over in Paris. Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) laid all the details out for Rex (Kyle Lowder). She was full of pain and rage and refused to forgive her mother’s deadly drinking and driving crime. (um, was it really Maggie’s crime?).
Sarah ranted, cried, and kept Rex good and tied up. There was no way she was letting him get away until she was sure he would let her get away. He tried to convince her to go home but his pleas meant nothing to her.
Back in Salem, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) put the pieces together and began planning how to get to Europe. She had to find Rex. She was sure once she found him she would find Sarah and her baby.
Speaking of baby drama, threats were made and tempers nearly exploded at the courthouse. It was the first day of Evan’s (err, Christian’s) trial and his sister was on the warpath. She cornered Sonny (Freddie Smith) and made it clear she would destroy him. Then, she and Orpheus had it out with Rafe (Galen Gering).
The detective would be presented as an alternate killer. He had the means, he had the motive, and most of all, he’s still fighting to take Jordan’s baby away from his parents. Rafe was fuming and assured her the plan would not work.
Something about Zoey’s confidence rubbed Orpheus the wrong way. He confronted his daughter about knowing more than she was letting on. She lied and said she didn’t but he could sense something big was about to go down. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
