Days of our Lives Recap: Xander Got A Smack Down From Sarah

The Days of Our Lives recap for Wednesday, June 3, 2020, features Claire going all out, Brady throwing Xander under the bus, Sarah going off the rails, and Eric trying to rush to the altar.

Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) turned on the charm, the smiles, and the waterworks to get her grandma to bring her home. She’s been in the institution for almost two years (yep, that’s right, because of the time jump) and she wants to get back to real life. Apparently, she was a model patient who exceeded everyone’s expectations. However, that may be a lie. She was still obsessing over Ben and Ciara.

Dream Crusher

Ciara (Victoria Konefal) was all proud of herself and her hard work but noticed something was off with Brady. She voiced her concerns to Eric (Greg Vaughan). Was Brady up to something? (Yes, of course he was.) Ciara was crushed when she went back to the office and found her report in the trash.

Let’s Get Married

As for Brady, he got a talking to by Nicole (Adrienne Zucker). How dare he just leave her behind? Was he not thinking of her too? Later, she went home to vent to Eric who gave her a pep talk. She can totally go it alone. Why shouldn’t she get all the glory? They then talked about their wedding and decided to simply elope. All they need is each other.

Another Dark Secret Came Out

Tensions rose at the Kiriakis mansion when Xander (Paul Telfer) tried to talk to Sarah (Linsey Godfrey). She tried to get rid of him but he was not letting up. Brady interrupted the scene and exposed another of Xander’s deep, dark secrets. Does he not remember taking Sarah for an abortion with the intention of helping Kristen steal her embryo? Sarah went ballistic and slapped Xander square across the face.

Will Jake Save Gabi?

Meanwhile, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) not only agreed to go back to work but also agreed to help Jake (Brandon Barash) track down his baddie ex. Ben used to be Stefan’s right-hand man so why not be Jake’s too. This bromance may be new but boy, does it feel like an old hat.

Jake got back to the garage just in time to catch the goon kidnapping Gabi (Camila Banus). She was being held hostage by one of them who demanded Jake hand over the goods.
