Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Gabi (Camila Banus) was thrilled to hear about Sonny’s (Freddie Smith) new job and the couple’s big move… until they told her that they wanted to take Ari. No way, guys. That was not going to happen. Gabi made it clear that she would fight for her daughter by any means necessary.
The guys tried to defuse the situation – giving Gabi a number of options – but it was clear that they weren’t getting anywhere. Gabi stood her ground. Ari’s life, school, and activities would remain in Salem.
(Fake) Affairs of the Heart
Upstairs, things went off the rails when Jake (Brandon Barash) found Gwen (Emily O’Brien) flirting with Chad (Billy Flynn). He demanded to know what was going on and Chad told him that the situation was exactly as it appeared to be. He and Gwen were getting closer by the day.
Jake kicked Chad out of the room, then confronted his girlfriend. He told her to stay away from Chad and not let him catch them together again. Gwen was quite pleased, as it seemed that her ploy to make Jake jealous was working.
The Final Preparations
It was the eve of Paige’s death anniversary, and her mother wanted everything to be in place. Tomorrow had to be the day that Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) would kill his wife and give Eve (Kassie DePaiva) her revenge. She met up with Vincent (Michael Teh), pushing him to get his job done so that they could bend Ben to their will.
By luck (er, well, unluck), Ben and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) ordered room service. Vincent showed up with their order… and more drugs on the side. He got that needle into Ben’s arm within seconds.
Wash And Dry
A broken washing machine had Rafe (Galen Gering) running to Hope’s (Kristian Alfonso) rescue. Things got messy fast and not just with the broken appliance. He and Hope were all smiles and kindness, and it was clear that there was more going on than friendly home repair. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
