The Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, August 27, 2020, features Ben replaying a heartbreaking story, Ciara missing in action, Sami’s twin turning the tables, and Eddie ruining lives.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Hope (Kristian Alfonso) found Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) but there was no sign of Ciara (Victoria Konefal). She handcuffed Ben the radiator, searched for her daughter, failed to find her, and came back to question Ben.
Poor Ben couldn’t remember at first, but when it all flooded back, it was awful. He broke into the bathroom, found Ciara hiding in the shower (why she didn’t flee out the very obvious and large enough window is unclear), and tried to fight the urge to murder her.
What Happened To Ciara?
Ciara begged for her life and even tried kissing Ben to bring him back to reality. It didn’t work. The last words he spoke to her was “I’m sorry, I have to do this.” He then wrapped the tie around his hands and cornered her in the tub. The big questions remained: Did Ben really kill Ciara? Did she run? Where is she — or her body?

Eric Fought Back
Sami (Alison Sweeney) brought the custody case to a screeching halt with her bombshell murder accusations against Nicole (Arianne Zucker). She laid all the dirty details on display. She even spilled that not only did Eric (Greg Vaughan) know about the killing but he was the one who told her! Eric fumed.
Eric was so mad he denied the whole thing. The former priest lied right to the judge and made Sami look like a liar. The judge bought it, put Sami in her place, and adjourned for the day. She would make her final ruling in the morning.
Is This The End For Gwen?
Gwen (Emily O’Brien) got a shock when she went to start her date but found Gabi (Camila Banus) and Jake (Brandon Barash) in bed instead. Yes, Gwen they did a very dirty deed, and yes, they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. So much so, Jake broke it off with his girlfriend.
Eddie Ruined Gabi’s life
Gwen’s shock was nothing compared to Gabi’s when she went downstairs. She was all up on her high horse but fell right off it when Rafe (Galen Gering) and Eduardo (A Martinez) came through the door. They explained that Dad did some bad, bad things again and now all their lives were in danger. Pack your things, Gabi, we have to run. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
