Days of our Lives Recap, Wednesday, June 26: Plans Gone All Wrong

The Days of our Lives recap for Wednesday, June 26 features a day of bad vibes and enemies on the rise. Kate got in some big trouble, Jack begged for his past, and Lani won back her man.

Mine, Mine, Mine!
Eve (Kassie DePaiva) put Jen (Melissa Reeves) in her place once and for all. Jack (Matthew Ashford) is HERS and HERS alone. He does not want Jen or his memories and that is that. Well, not really.

Little did she know he was over at the hospital begging Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) to inject him. Unfortunately, Kayla said no. She didn’t have FDA approval, serum, or the diary. The journal now belongs to Will and Jack will have to ask him for approval.

Missing People
Meanwhile, Jen met up with Hope and they shared their love life woes. Jen will never get Jack back and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) may have pushed away a really great guy. By the way, where is Ted (Gilles Marini)? Sadly, he is still missing and now no one is looking for him.

Xander (Paul Telfer) caught Kate (Lauren Koslow) eavesdropping and pulled a gun on her. She told him she knows he killed Ted and already called the police. (Unfortunately, Eve already called off the officers.)

They argued back and forth until Kristen stepped out of the shadows and knocked Kate out cold. Kristen ordered Xander do away with her but he didn’t have to heart to watch her die. So, he locked her up with Ted. Cause why not?

A Big Mistake
The ordeal kept Kristen away from something very important — her first day on the job and Stefan was not happy.

He told Abe he was firing Nicole the second she did show up but the former mayor talked him out of it. Firing a grieving mom for missing one day of work won’t look good on the company.

At the station, Eli (Lamon Archey) reminisced about Lani (Sal Stowers). At the pub, Lani met up with her dad to talk about Eli. They also talked about Abe and she told her dad he was nuts to take a job at DiMera.

Eventually, Lani and Eli came together and talked about the last few weeks. Lani admitted Eli was right about the baby, she was using Jordan’s David to get over their David. That’s all Eli needed to hear.

He kissed her on the forehead and suggested they visit their son’s grave — together, as Lani had said she doesn’t know how to say goodbye. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
