Days of Our Lives Recap: The Walls Are Closing In On Kristen

Days of Our Lives recap for Tuesday, August 20, 2019 features talk of Nicole throughout Salem. Everyone thinks she’s acting stranger than ever with little excuse, but few know what’s really going on.

One person who knows exactly what’s going on is Gabi, (Camila Banus) and she told her tale to Stefan (Brandon Barash) when they woke up in our favorite secret DiMera room. Stefan thought her story was insane, but she insisted Nicole (Arianne Zucker) is indeed Kristen (Stacy Haiduk).

Meanwhile, Kristen was panicking upstairs in the living room but got her Nicole face on real fast as Sonny banged at the door looking for Gabi. he only wanted to get Ari’s swimsuit, but ‘Nicole’ left him suspicious.

When Sonny (Freddie Smith) returned to the Kiriakis mansion he told Will (Chandler Massey) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) that Nicole was acting strange. What a surprise.

Before Sonny got there, he told Will he was not happy with Susan coming to John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) anniversary party because she came onto him last time they saw one another. Will told Brady he’s not really Susan’s type.

Brady later went to see ‘Nicole’ and she was thrilled to see him. She was a little panicked when he told her all he could think about was Kristen.

In a whole other saga not about Nicole or Kristen or Kristen masquerading as Nicole and knocking people out cold, Haley (Thia Megia) insisted to JJ (Casey Moss) she is fine now that she’s off the sleeping pills. However, she IS on anti-anxiety meds so let’s see how that goes.

While JJ and Haley grew closer, Tripp finally had to confess to Kayla that he thinks he’s falling in love with Haley. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
