The Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, December 24, 2020, features Joey getting ready to check out, Allie confessing to Sami, and Lani and Eli meeting their twins.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Lani (Sal Stowers) was treated to one of the least dramatic births in soap opera history. She was at the hospital, all was calm, and the twins came in record time. She and Eli (Lamon Archey) were the proud parents of a daughter and son. No names yet, though.
The babies were not the only surprise. Abe (James Reynold) showed up with Valerie (Vanessa Williams). She was not going to miss the birth of her grandbabies. The family gathered to soak in their blessings and snuggle the new members.
Tripp Missed His Mom
Meanwhile, it was a troubling day for Tripp (Lucas Adams). He impatiently awaited his mother’s return and became more worried by the minute. Steve (Stephen Nichols) suggested Ava (Tamara Braun) up and left town but Tripp did not think so. A box of Christmas cards his mom wrote but never sent him proved his mom loved him. She would definitely not leave him.
Steve took Lucas for a drink at the pub to calm down. Big mistake. They ran into Allie (Lindsay Arnold) and Lucas (Bryan Dattilo). They were there showing off Henry. Everyone got into it. Tripp retreated home and Steve hightailed it to the hospital. Tripp was not home alone long, though. Lucas chased him down and banged on the door.
Sami Heard The Truth
As for Allie, Roman (Josh Taylor) put her on video with her mom and accidentally spilled a small detail about Henry’s conception. Sami’s alarm went up and she forced Allie to tell her everything. Sami was mortified by how she acted towards Allie all these months. How horrible.
Joey Is Leaving
Meanwhile, back at the hospital, Steve dressed as Santa and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) read the children a story. Then, their day sort of fell apart. Joey (James Lastovic) informed them he decided his future was in Seattle with Stephanie. Oh, and he’s leaving tomorrow. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
