Days of our Lives Recap: Trask’s War On Kristen Led To Terrible Decisions

The Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, October 1, 2020, features Trask laying down the law, Marlena receiving a special request, and Gwen amping up her plan to take down Abigail.

Trask (Tina Huang) was on the warpath against Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and even her chat with Abe didn’t dissuade her. He asked her to recuse herself from the case but she refused. Melinda claimed she could put her own feelings aside for the sake of justice. Abe had no reason to doubt her.

Meanwhile, Eli (Lamon Archey) felt the pressure knowing Lani’s (Sal Stowers) future was on the line. She helped Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) too many times and one of them was caught on tape. What do they do now? The couple had no choice but to go rogue and delete the evidence before turning the surveillance footage over to the DA.

Raise My baby

Kristen tried to make the most of her freedom. She and Brady (Eric Martsolf) took Rachel to the hospital for a visit with John. Family first and all that. Brady and Rachel went into the room but Kristen hung back with Marlena. She asked the doc to help raise her baby should she be sentenced to jail. Marlena agreed but hoped it would not come to that.

Living With The Enemy

There was an awkward moment at the DiMera mansion when a towel-clad Jake (Brandon Barash) caught Kate (Lauren Koslow) snooping through his room. Don’t worry, she’s just there to track down a dress. He didn’t buy it but had no reason to call her out.

Downstairs, Gwen (Emily O’Brien) talked to Stefano’s portrait and agreed they both despise Abigail. She promised Stefano she’ll take down Chad’s little wife once and for all. Abby caught her chattering but did not hear what she said. Gwen managed to cover her tracks.

Jake Befriended Abigail

Abigail’s mind was elsewhere, though. It was her first day back at work and she wanted it to go well. How could it not? She had a great husband backing her up, the kids were safe in Gwen’s care (were they?) and she was ready to rock.

She did not quite make it there, though. Abigail had car trouble. She came back into the house, ran smack into Jake, who just finished a rant about being left out of the family company. He asked for Abigail’s help getting his shot at greatness. Abigail did not make any promises but said she would try to get through to Chad. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
