Days of Our Lives Recap: Tony and Anna Came Face to Face

Days of Our Lives recap for Monday, August 12, 2019 features a day of shock, surprise, and scandals in Salem. Brady couldn’t’ get Kristne out of his head, Tony tried to break ties, and Anna’s life flipped upside down!

I Want Out
Tony (Thaao Penghlis) and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) had it out over their off-the-wall union. He wanted out, she refused to let him leave, and they proceeded to blackmail each other. Of course, Kristen won out. She threatened Tony within an inch of his life (and Anna too) if he ever tried to make contact.

A Bombshell Surprise
Anna (Leann Hunley) is back but not for the reasons you think. It was high time for her to let Tony go and bury him once and for all. Much to her surprise, she found out she’s been carrying around the wrong ashes the whole time. Tony is alive and back in Salem. Oh, and he’s married to Nicole in a bid to take over DiMera.

Anna was sure Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Roman (Josh Taylor) were big, fat liars but she couldn’t deny the truth when she ran right into her beloved.

She wasn’t the only one in shock. John (Drake Hogestyn( told Marlena the tale and she nearly fell over in her chair. How could this be? He’s been gone for so long! Well, with Jack back after all this time anything is possible.

Obsession Sessions
Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) was also blown away when she got the details. Brady (Eric Martsolf) watched Nicole get married to Tony and then took her to bed? WHAT? Oh, and that’s not all… Instead of obsessing over his night with Nicole, all he can suddenly think about is Kristen. Talk about strange.

All About Hope
As if those oddities weren’t enough, Stefan (Brandon Barash) had a wild tale of his own to share. He asked Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) to help clear his name by investigating Hope!

Yes, Hope (Kristian Alfonso). But, not for murder. Hope found out a few things that could lead to the real killer and he needs to know all she knows and more. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
