The Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, June 20 features a loving memorial to Caroline. Expect to see familiar faces from far and wide as her friends and family gathered to honor the Brady matriarch.
Heartbreaking News
News of Caroline’s (Peggy McCay) death spread quickly through Salem. Sami (Alison Sweeney) had the daunting task of telling Will (Chandler Massey), who realized what happened while he was fighting for his life. His and Caroline’s hearts stopped at the same time and she sent him back.
Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) broke the news to Victor (John Aniston) and invited him to the memorial. However, he decided against it. He wanted to say goodbye to Caroline in his own way.
Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Victor shared a moment when she arrived to see him. They went through a box of his and Caroline’s memories, including the letter where she told him he fathered Bo. He loves Maggie but Caroline was and always will be the love of his life.
A Life to Remember
Familiar faces returned to the scene as Shawn and Carrie mad their returns. They were there to join their families to celebrate Caroline’s life. She meant to the world to them and they wouldn’t miss this for anything.
Caroline’s dearest friends and family gathered at the pub to share their finest memories. John (Drake Hogestyn) talked about Caroline loving him no matter what. Sami talked about Caroline helping her without judgment, and Shawn talked about her being an anchor.
Marlena (Deidre Hall), Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan), and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) each spoke about Caroline making them better people. She had a lot of life lessons to teach and gave them freely.
When everyone in attendance had their chance to speak Roman and Kayla spent time remembering their mother. She was one of a kind. She was a sinner, a saint, and the bravest woman they’d ever know. Kayla ended the memorial with her mother’s favorite poem. By the end of the day, there was not a dry eye in the house.
