The Days of our Lives recap for Monday, April 26, 2021, features Gabi and Philip’s lovemaking being intruded upon, Theo making the rounds, Paulina putting her foot down where Chanel is concerned, and Jake failing to properly scan a room.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlight
Gabi (Camila Banus) insisted that Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) bring her back to his place for a romantic rendezvous, but no sooner had a majority of their clothes come off than the memories of Jake (Brandon Barash) began to creep in.
Despite this, Gabi attempted to continue – she’s nothing if not a trooper. But ultimately she had to bring the exercise to a screeching halt. Philip took it all in good stride and even offered Gabi a friendly ear, and a shoulder to cry on. And boy did she take him up on it. Why, oh why can’t she get over Jake?
So Long, Farewell
Theo (Cameron Johnson) bid both his father and his sister farewell, and neither party seemed particularly weirded out by the prospect of him taking an amnesiac back home with him and attempting to forge a relationship with her.
In fact, Abe (James Reynolds) was proud of him…because nothing is as honorable as taking advantage of a woman who can’t give her full consent seeing as how she doesn’t possess her full faculties.
Accidents Happen
There’s a pattern beginning to emerge where Chanel (Precious Way) is concerned. If it’s possible for her to make a bad situation worse, you had better bet she going to do it. Hence, her complete and total ruining of her and Xander’s (Paul Telfer) carefully arranged scam.
But even though the duo won’t be getting any money out of Paulina (Jackée Harry), at least they won’t be bound by the covenant of holy matrimony. Now all Chanel has to do is find a job, a place to live, a car which she will use to get from one place to the next (because surely EVERYTHING in Salem isn’t within walking distance), and money to get her enterprise started. But how to go about getting it? Hmm.
Thank Goodness For Poor Peripheral Vision
Jake (Brandon Barash) happened upon Kristasusan (Stacy Haiduk) and proceeded to engage her in trivial conversation, and all the while his beloved Kate (Lauren Koslow) lay unconscious just a head’s turn away.
He didn’t see her of course. He was far too busy worrying about cast-aside tumblers and discarded scarves. Man, get your priorities straight! Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
