The Days of Our Lives recap for Monday, February 3, 2020, features the walls closing in on SteVano and Gina, a desperate attempt to save a baby, and two loving confessions.
Shawn (Brandon Beemer), Rafe (Galen Gering), and Roman (Josh Taylor) worried themselves sick, and rightfully so. They knew Marlena (Deidre Hall) was in trouble but had no idea John was too. They started plotting a rescue mission but they couldn’t act fast enough.
Princess Gina (Kristian Alfonso) had John (Drake Hogestyn) right where she wanted them. They were locked away with no one the wiser. Unfortunately, she was the last thing on John’s mind. He was pining for Marlena and realized she may not even be dead. Heck, how many times has this happened and the doc was a-ok?
Marlena thought much the same way. She cried over John but not for very long. In fact, she was not half as upset as you would expect. (Is she really even Marlena? Where’s Hattie?)
Her suspicions rose when she went to leave and found the door locked. She concluded John was still alive and this was all a trick to keep her away. But, why would Stefano lock her in a room with Steve (Stephen Nichols)?
Meanwhile, the puzzle pieces began to all into place for Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abigail (Kate Mansi). Stefano was now Steve but they could not quite figure out how. They assumed he was either wearing a mask as Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) did or had surgery. Either way, Stefano was back and they decided to flush out the truth.
The fight to save Mickey (or Rachel, as it were) had Xander (Paul Telfer) begging for help. He showed no shame asking Brady (Eric Martsolf) to get tested and pushing for Tate too. He played it off as asking everyone and backed it up when Kristen showed up. He asked her to get tested too.
Brady wasn’t keen on Tate going through the procedure but he headed to the hospital with everyone else. Once there and alone again, he and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) agreed to end their fake relationship so she could win back Eric.
Speaking of Eric, he almost got hot and heavy with Sarah but she put on the brakes before things went too far. Good thing too. Xander busted in and was shocked to see them almost making love.
Sarah made things right by fessing up. She stopped the makeout session because she was already in love with Xander. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
