Days of our Lives Recap: The Grant Twins Fell Prey To A Devious Doc

The Days of our Lives recap for Friday, January 8, 2021, features Lani living her worst nightmare when a baby snatcher returned to Salem.

Days of our Lives Recap Highlights

Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli’s (Lamon Archey) plans to go home came to a screeching halt when they could not find their babies. Eli tried not to panic but Lani went immediately off the deep end.

The Race Was On!

Eli called Valerie (Vanessa Williams) asking if she or Abe (James Reynolds) knew where the twins were. No, son, they did not. The doting parents were too busy toying with the idea of rekindling their romance to sign out the twins.

Val and Abe rushed back to the hospital as quickly as they could. Abe (James Reynolds) got on the phone with Rafe (Galen Gering). Within minutes, the entire force was on the lookout for the newborn babies. It did not bring much comfort to Lani.

The Good Doctor Struck Again

Little did they know, Dr. Reynor (Victoria Platt) took their babies. The devious doc made sure to cover her tracks. She managed to get out of the hospital without much of a trace. The only evidence left behind was the twin’s bracelets.

Dr. Reynor was not acting alone. Once at the park, she placed a call to her contact confirming she had the twins. The big question is, who is Reynor’s partner in crime?

As luck would have it, Bonnie (Judi Evans) came across the doctor and babies. She cooed over the infants and even held Carver. Reynor scooped back the baby and hightailed it out of there as soon as she got the chance.

Brady Had All The Answers

Over at the prison, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) saw a news clip on Brady (Eric Martsolf) kissing Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin). Brady explained it was all in good, friendly fun, though. Kristen gave him the benefit of the doubt.

Xander Uncovered The Dirt

Meanwhile, Chloe checked in on Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson). She offered him her help, he turned it down, but immediately regretted it when Angelo called him. The mobster made it clear he would be picking up where Ava left off.

A conversation about dirty clothes lit a lightbulb for Xander (Paul Telfer). He realized Philip was not embezzling, he was laundering! Xander was sure he finally had the upper hand. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
