The Days of Our Lives recap for Thursday, April 23, 2020, featured Gabi seeing a familiar face, Sarah taking on a new identity, Maggie begging for answers, and Kristen going absolutely ballistic.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
It was a bad day for Gabi (Camila Banus). Not only did Shin give the CEO spot to Chad (Billy Flynn) but he took away Gabi Chic too. The board knew she would freak over placing Chad in the top spot so they removed her from all DiMera duties.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, she also lost all her leverage at home too. Abby (Kate Mansi) was thrilled to tell Gabi to pack her bags and get out!
A Shattered Soul
Oh, but that wasn’t even all that happened to the baddie. She went to reclaim her storefront and ended up getting into it with Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes). They fought over Stefan’s heart, which led to a strange moment when she saw her dead husband’s reflection in the window.

An Easy Cover
Over in Paris, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) got a shock when a neighbor knocked on her door. She was even more stunned when the stranger pegged her as Abby. Sarah went with it, made up a cover story about an impending divorce from Chad, and carried on her merry way. Jeanne bought the story hook, line, and sinker but implored “Abby” to give her hubby a second chance, for the children’s sake.
Secrets and Lies
Meanwhile, back in Salem, Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) got wind Sarah was in trouble and demanded Will spill all. He gave her a few tidbits, including Sarah backing out of the wedding, but did not tell her about the baby. It was clear there was more and he ran off with a guilty conscience.
Kristen Got Justice
Tempers exploded at the Kiriakis mansion. Brady (Eric Martsolf) had it out with Victor (John Aniston) and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) had some choice words for Xander (Paul Telfer). However, the real fireworks came when Kristen faced off with the family patriarch.
Kristen laid into Victor with a vengeance. The more Victor talked, the angrier Kristen became. He went too far and she grabbed a knife and stabbed him while screaming how he deserved to die. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
