Days of our Lives recap for Monday, August 3, 2020 features Eve-il going all out, Sami rubbing Sonny the wrong way, and a familiar face showing up to lend a helping hand.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) was in huge trouble. He woke up strapped to a chair and was tortured in all kinds of ways by Eve (Kassie DePaiva) and Rolf’s protégé, Vincent (Michael Teh). He was drugged, hooked up to electrodes, and shocked in a bid to brainwash him.
As if that’s not enough, Eve upped her game by showing him snaps of his wedding to control his reactions to Ciara. Things became wild when she rolled in a mannequin with Ciara’s face on a tablet, and she and Vincent coached him to strangle the figure.
New York Style
Thankfully, his heroes were on their way. Ciara (Victoria Konefal) and the crew were in New York but hit several dead ends. Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Shawn (Brandon Beemer) found her apartment empty and dirty, with no clues left behind. The group called in Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) to help in the search.

Sami Ruins Everything
It was a day all about adoptions for Wilson. Will (Chandler Massey) was pleased to find Sonny (Freddie Smith) pouring over papers to bring a new member into the house. No, not the baby (they had those papers already), a puppy. Ari won her case and she’s getting a dog.
Now, onto the baby saga. They got the call the baby was born and rushed to the hospital to meet “their son.” Not so fast, guys. Two things stood in their way, and they were both Sami (Alison Sweeney). Not only did she interfere with the adoption, but also kept them away from the birth. Of course, Will knew about the first one.
Mama Does NOT Know Best
Speaking of Sami, she knew she was wrong and turned to Belle (Martha Madison) for support. She was barking up the wrong tree, though. Belle gave her a stern talking to and a big reality check. Sami didn’t want to hear it. She went to the hospital to make things right. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
