Days Of Our Lives Recap: Temptations and False Accusations

Days of Our Lives recap for Wednesday, August 7, 2019, featured a day of surprises, shock, and slip-ups. It was quite the day for the Salem crowd with a murder investigation and two hot romances heating up.

Bad Timing, Worse Luck
Stefan’s (Brandon Barash) in trouble – big, big trouble. Getting caught gun in hand was not a good idea. He was hauled down to the station, held for an investigation, and accused of murder. Unfortunately, there was no way out of this mess.

Things went from bad to worse when Eli (Lamon Archey) called Hope (Kristian Alfonso) down to the station. He gently broke the terrible news and ask what she knew. Of course, she recalled seeing a frantic Stefan on his way to Ted’s. However, she also told the new Commish about all those big wads of cash. Will the mad money become Stefan’s saving grace?

Haunting Faces
Tony (Thaao Penghlis) gave Kate (Lauren Koslow) quite the scare when they came face to face. Seeing her old friend alive again startled her so much she fainted right in his arms. Unfortunately, that was not the biggest shock of her day.

Hope was still reeling when she came upon Tony and Kate having lunch together. She sat them down and told them the horrifying news. Ted is dead and Stefan shot him!

Brady Gave in
All the while, Kristen took full advantage of some time alone with Brady (Eric Martsolf). “Nicole’ (Arianne Zucker) finally managed to charm his pants off after he fell for her trick. She got what she wanted and Brady was none the wiser.

Brand New Love
Also turning up the heat were Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey). They declared their love, decided to give this a go and headed straight to the bedroom. It was a magical moment and truly the beginning of something new.

Sarah’s fresh start continued hitting Rex (Kyle Lowder) and Xander (Paul Telfer) hard. After getting drunk, Rex leaned on his mom for support and Xander shared some more special moments with Maggie (Suzanne Rogers).

A Subtle Spill
Unfortunately, in his drunken stupor, Xander slipped up. He told Maggie Nicole was not really Nicole. He covered it up by saying she changed way too much but Maggie knew what she heard and her radar was up. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
