The Days of Our Lives recap for Tuesday, March 31, 2020, features a dramatic end to the month. Steve lost his eye again, Abigail fought for Chad, and Ciara and Ben planned their future.
It was a moment of tears and relief when John (Drake Hogestyn) got his doc back. Marlena (Deidre Hall) came around and was almost herself again. She at least knew where her loyalty really was, however, she couldn’t shake worrying about SteVano (Stephen Nichols), probably because of that chip in her head.
At the same time, Chad (Billy Flynn) lost it and cornered his sister. He had Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) locked away and was gearing up to kill them both. Thankfully, Abigail (Kate Mansi) came across the scene just in time. It’s all good, though, Chad had to get back to his dad.
No sooner did Chad leave than John and Marlena find the couple. Luckily, Brady was fine despite having a bullet wound. Apparently, getting shot at point-blank range isn’t a big deal for this Salem hero.
The drama at Maison Blanche exploded when Anna (Leann Hunley) went on the attack. She stabbed that stiletto right in Steve’s eye and didn’t regret it for a minute. Well, maybe a second because he went off the rails, Chad went over the edge, and there was a gun pointed at her head.
It was Abigail to the rescue again. She talked Chad into putting down the gun. The second he put it on the table, she picked it up and pointed it straight at him. It was a harrowing scene and she was relieved when John showed up and took over. He dealt with The Phoenix and Abby helped break the spell over her husband.
SteVano was rushed to the hospital and right into Kayla’s (Mary Beth Evans) ER. She just finished telling Justin (Wally Kurth) they’d be a couple no matter what but that could change if the trauma brings Steve back to himself.
Meanwhile, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) stayed tucked away in their motel bubble. Why go outside when it’s so cozy inside? (Good advice for everyone right now?) They cuddled, they kissed, they talked about their families and plans for the future. First things first (you know after they decide it’s all good to go outside), Ben needs a job and they need a roof over their heads, together. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
