Days of our Lives recap for Tuesday, April 7, 2020, features Eric coming to terms with the truth, Sarah preparing for her wedding, and SteVano saying goodbye.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) prepped SteVano (Stephen Nichols) for surgery (or at least tried to) and made sure he knew his time was up. This time, the Phoenix wouldn’t rise, as long ash she can help it. SteVano was furious but there was not much he could do about it. So, he summoned his children to his bedside for a tearful goodbye.
Farewell, Father
Chad (Billy Flynn) was not happy about being dragged out of bed and away from his wife but he obliged. Tony (Thaao Penghlis) was the same and Anna (Leann Hunley) worried his dad had too much pull. Kristen, though, was called away mere moments before Eric (Greg Vaughan) was about to spill the news. Oh well, the baby reveal must wait, SteVano had things to say.
The baddie was near tears when he said what could be a final farewell to his sons and daughter. SteVano apologized for the past, said sorry for all the manipulations, and even told the trio how much he loved them. Then, he put on a brave face and let Kayla wheel him away.
An Overwhelming Secret
Meanwhile, Eric agonized over how to proceed. He was so sure about telling Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen but when they were called away he didn’t exactly chase after them. Instead, he and Nicole went to the hospital, tracked down the tech from the last DNA test, and demanded answers.
The tech tried to deny his role but when push came to shove he gave up the goods and handed over the actual results. Eric was definitely not Mickey’s dad and Sarah was for sure not her mom.
Getting Ready To Wed
Speaking of Sarah, she was on cloud nine as she prepared for her and Xander’s (Paul Telfer) big day. The couple laughed, joked, and made big plans for the honeymoon. A few hours from now and they’ll be husband and wife. She took off to help Kayla in surgery and he went to Titan to pick up her dress. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
