The Days of Our Lives recap for Monday, July 22 features two very strange Susans, confusing accusations, and Stefan’s lawyer pulling out a win. It was quite a day in Salem as tension built for some wild reveals.
Mask Mania
Xander (Paul Telfer) was tickled pink to have Kristen at his mercy. He made her take the knee GoT style, hail him as her king, and beg for the mask. He made her sweat when he tossed her the wrestling mask but after a good laugh, he agreed to return the Nicole’face. Unfortunately, things would not work out the way they wanted.
Gabi (Camila Banus) had the briefcase, she gave it to Brady (Eric Martsolf) and warned him it could contain evidence they could use, and Brady took it home but refused to simply hand it back to Xander. If Xander wanted it he would have to open it in front of everyone. Talk about a predicament!
A Strange Encounter
Meanwhile, the real Susan’s homecoming shook up the Kiriakis household. She was utterly confused by their questions and accusations. Where is your gun permit? Why did you come onto Brady? Is that a new outfit?
Susan gave them the permit and was delighted to be “gifted” a gun, called Brady delusional, thanked them for noticing her new clothes, and set out to find Marlena (Deidra Hall).
Living On The Edge
It was a bad day to be Kate (Lauren Koslow) and anyone who came into contact with her. She was on edge over Kristen and lost it when she came to her room to find an intruder. She clocked the woman over the head with an ice bucket only to find out it was Sarah (whoops).
To make things worse, Lani (Sal Stowers) noticed inconsistencies in her story and to questioned her. How did Kate know for sure Stefan was involved when she never saw him? Kate made things worse by lying and saying she heard Stefan outside the door. Lani knew that was a tall tale.
Stefan’s Out!
Meanwhile, back at the station, Stefan’s lawyer worked some serious magic and got him released on bail. He did not waste a second of his freedom and ran straight to Kate’s room! It’s time to finally clear his name.
Evicted!
Getting hit in the head wasn’t the only drama for Sarah. Eric (Greg Vaughan) put his foot down about their living situation. It’s time she and Rex (Kyle Lowder) found their own place. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
