It was a day of making peace for Kate (Lauren Koslow). She checked herself out of the hospital (without waiting for a doc) and made her way to the DiMera mansion. Her first stop was to see Gabi (Camila Banus) and help her bestie get through the traumatic loss.
Stefan is gone but Kate reminded his legacy will not be forgotten. She pushed Gabi to step up, stake her claim to DiMera, and prove her worth. That’s what Stefan would do.
But, what about Kate? Well, as it turns out, Kate gave serious thought to jumping ship for Titan and it looks like that is what she is going to do.
A Heartfelt Peace Offering
Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) was shocked to wake up and even more stunned to hear who saved her. She has Stefan’s heart and Gabi’s blessing for a second chance at life.

Julie wasted no time getting on the phone to thank her rival. Perhaps this will bring them peace and allow them to put the past behind them?
Sadly, the new heart was not a cure-all. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) warned something was not right and she ordered more and more tests.
Take My Job!
Speaking of making peace, Jack (Matthew Ashford) sat down with Abe (James Reynolds) to apologize for his actions. He went too far, crossed too many lines, and stole a job from a friend. Jack wanted to make things right and asked Abe to take back the mayor’s position. Abe was more than happy to oblige. After all that legality and democracy stuff was worked out, of course.

Meanwhile, Hope’s (Kristian Alfonso) odd and strange behavior had many up in arms. Abe found her wandering around town, she was off-kilter while visiting Julie, fell asleep in the park, and even snapped at Kate. She’s acting wild and everyone was worried.
