The Days of Our Lives recap for Friday, August 9, 2019 features rising suspicions, haunting feelings, and another blast from the past returning to the screen.
A Familiar Sensation
Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) spent her morning as Nicole (Arianne Zucker) hearing Brady (Eric Martsolf) talk about Kristen. The situation was surreal as she heard what Brady really thought. He was in love with Kirsten for so long. It’s just too bad she was so toxic.
Another Wild Twist
Tony’s (Thaao Penghlis) day took several turns. He heard Kate’s side of the terrifying kidnapping and decided Kristen really was not worth the trouble.
He headed back to his room and tried to cut ties with his sister. Kristen was not having it, though. Her shot at DiMera is right around the corner and she was not letting Tony ruin it.
She may not have a choice, though. Tony’s true love came sweeping into town. Anna (Leann Hunley) resurfaced at the Brady pub and she was ready to take Salem by storm.
I’ll Get You!
Tensions rose at the DiMera mansion when Gabi (Camila Banus) and Stefan (Brandon Barash) went head to head. He swore to make her pay and he meant it. She was not an easy nut to crack, though. Gabi was determined to take down Stefan and told him to bring it on!

Stefan may soon catch a break. Hope realized there was someone in Ted’s condo before Stefan got there and her money was on the mystery woman. Who is she? Why was she at Ted’s? Why did she throw out the necklace?
Who Is She?
Hope (Kristian Alfonso) shared her suspicions with Rafe (Galen Gearing) and they decided to pursue the case until they found answers. Something fishy is going on and these detectives were ready to get to the truth!
I’m Leaving This Place!
Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) faced the consequences of their action. They are in love, ready to pledge their devotion, but they know this will not be easy for Rex (Kyle Lowder). Much to their surprise, they will not have to deal with him much longer.
Rex is over and done and ready to leave town. He broke the news to best friend Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) and then told his parents. Roman saw this coming and Kate tried to change his mind but Rex was adamant. There was nothing left for him in Salem. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
