Days of Our Lives recap for Monday, September 9, 2019, features a dramatic day in Salem. Threats, unforgivable acts, and twist and turns kept your favorites on their toes.

The Unkillable Kate
Vivian (Robin Strasser) was pretty pleased with her handiwork and made sure Kate (Lauren Koslow) was snug as a bug in her grave. She went back to her room, bragged to her son, and washed her hands of the whole ordeal (literally). Kate killed her so she killed Kate right back.

Little did she know, Kate was not quite dead. She’s very much alive and started digging herself out of the shallow grave. Maybe Viv should learn how to take a pulse.

Boys Will Be Boys
Speaking of surviving a close call with death, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) caught a lucky break when Brady (Eric Martsolf) walked in the room. Brady diffused the situation and even talked Ben into staying quiet.

Ben was reluctant but he zipped his lips and when he saw how happy Ciara was to join Titan. He did warn Brady to keep the family in check — or else!

Why Are You Here
Ciara had enough of her own to deal with at the hospital. Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) was suffering and she prayed for a miracle. However, what she got was Gabi (Camila Banus). She stopped by with flowers and a deep apology for the family.

Ciara exploded at first. However, all was forgiven when she saw Gabi was truly sorry. Julie and Gabi have a long history and it’s time to put it to rest.

Rumor Mill
Unfortunately, others were not so forgiving. Lani (Sal Stowers) was up in arms about the whole thing. She even went to Rafe (Galen Gearing) about his sister. They talked, then Rafe talked to Gabi, then Gabi tracked down Lani. Gabi warned the cop to back off once and for all.

Oh, Baby!
In Chicago, Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) couldn’t keep their hands off each other, even when he told her about Sarah.

Their happiness may not last long. Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) agonized about how and when to tell him about the baby. She cried herself to sleep, which turned out to be a mistake. Xander (Paul Telfer) came to check on her and got an eyeful when he dug her test results out of the trash. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
