The Days of our Lives recap for Friday, August 7, 2020, features Xander and Sarah turning up the heat, Gabi grasping at straws, and Allie taking time with her son.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Xander (Paul Telfer) did not take his second chance for granted. He wined and dined Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and even offered to buy her a car when he heard her’s was having trouble. She turned him down, of course, but the offer melted her heart. She decided to spend the night with him.
Allie Met Her Son
Allie (Lindsay Arnold) was at a loss about what to do next and leaned on Nicole (Arianne Zucker) for support. With Rafe (Galen Gering) and WilSon out of the running, who would take her baby now? She contemplated hiring an agency to find a place to start.

Nicole had a better idea, though. She implored Allie to go and see her baby and figure out her next move. Nicole made it clear this was not a play to make her fall in love with the tot, it was to give Allie closure. Allie agreed and they headed to the nursery where she finally set eyes on her little boy.
Sami Caused More Damage
Sami (Alison Sweeney) was on quite a tear running around town blaming her problems on Nicole. She blasted Eric (Greg Vaughan) for marrying that witch and demanded he help her fix the mess. Eric refused until she apologizes to his wife. Sami refused.
Sami stormed off to the Kiriakis house where things did not go well. Will (Chandler Massey) was practically on his knees begging for Sonny’s (Freddie Smith) forgiveness and her arrival made things worse. Sonny left in a huff.
Gabi Used Jake
Meanwhile, Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) arrived in town to see clients and was disappointed to hear Chad (Billy Flynn) was away. His people wanted to meet a blood DiMera. No problem, Gabi (Camila Banus) had a spare. She suited up Jake (Brandon Barash) and presented him to the board members. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
