Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Claire (Isabel Durant) did a bad thing but for good reason. She came upon Allie (Lindsay Arnold) in Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and Eric’s (Greg Vaughan) apartment and when Sami showed up, she helped her and worked to get rid of the meddling mama. It was easy, though. Sami (Alison Sweeney) was determined to find Allie and ranted and raved to Claire about all her daughter’s flaws and faults, especially choosing Nicole to raise her baby! Oh, the audacity!
Allie Had Enough
Hearing Sami go off only cemented Allie’s decision. Once Sami was gone she came out of hiding and told Claire her side of the story. Sami ruined her life, her adoption dreams, and is still injecting herself in every aspect of her life. She thanked Claire for helping, grabbed her passport, and took off.
Sami Searched And Searched
Meanwhile, Sami went all around town searching for her daughter. She forbid Kate (Lauren Koslow) from sending the runaway mama money, put Lucas on alert, and turned to her mom and Belle for support. She was determined to find her daughter before Nicole got her hands on the baby.

Is This Fate?
Over at the hospital, Nicole and Eric read the rest of Allie’s letter and mulled over her decision. Were they ready to take on the baby? More importantly, were they ready to fight Sami for custody? Nicole was up for it but Eric was not so sure.
Let’s Try Again
Speaking of adoption, Sonny (Freddie Smith) forgave Will (Chandler Massey) for his role in them losing the baby. Sure, they aren’t getting the child, but hey, they’re getting a puppy, right? The couple promised Ari a dog and she was getting one.
They also discussed their own future as a family. They lost out on Allie’s child, but that doesn’t mean they had to give up the dream of expanding their family. Sonny suggested they look for a surrogate. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
