The Days of Our Lives recap for January 4-8, 2021, features Chad learning the error of his ways, the walls closing in on Charlie, and the Grants experiencing every parent’s worst nightmare.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers Highlights
After finding Abigail (Marci Miller) in Jake’s (Brandon Barash) bedroom, Chad (Billy Flynn) insisted that his wife had some explaining to do. And explain Abigail did. First, she and Jake were merely having a mid-morning chat about how worried she was over Chad’s absence.
Then, she revealed that the woman Jake had been carrying on with was Kate (Lauren Koslow). What she couldn’t offer, however, was a reason for a room at the Salem Inn being booked in her name. And she couldn’t explain why Gwen (Emily O’Brien) was telling a falsehood concerning a kiss that Abigail and Jake supposedly indulged in.
But she was damn sure going to get herself and Chad the answers. A subsequent confrontation with Gwen elicited some truths, namely that the kiss never took place. And just like that, Chad realized that he had been suckered into bed by a woman who knew exactly what she was doing.
That little indiscretion didn’t come out during the trios little set to, but following its end, Gwen threatened to tell Abigail all if she followed through on her threat to remove Gwen from the payroll and kick her off the estate!
A Rotten Family Tree
Meanwhile, John (Drake Hogestyn) and Steve’s (Stephen Nichols) little sojourn to Pennsylvania bore some rather interesting fruit. Not only did the duo learn that Ava (Tamara Braun) had another son, but they were able to figure out that he was Claire’s (Isabel Durant) latest squeeze!
An SOS call to Marlena (Deidre Hall) resulted in the storming of the Brady home and the interruption of an intimate moment between the young lovers – though Charlie (Mike Manning) was allowed to leave the residence.
He raced back to his apartment and learned that Ava, whom he earlier fed fistfuls of hallucination-inducing drugs, had been sprung. Mama Vitali was rushed to the hospital where she managed to throw her errant offspring right under the bus.
Gone Babies
Inside that same hospital, a terrible event occurred. Eli (Lamon Archey) and Lani’s (Sal Stowers) twins, the same babies that they had only named hours earlier, were kidnapped…by a doctor formerly employed at that very same institution!
But why did Dr. Raynor (Victoria Platt) commit the crime? And who exactly is she working for? Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
