The Days of Our Lives recap for June 15-19, 2020 features an exciting climax to a kidnapping, a humiliating experience for some partners-in-crime, and much more!
The people of Salem really have to stop jumping to conclusions. Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey) were sure that Jake (Brandon Barash) had gotten so fed up with Gabi (Camila Banus) and her constant harping that he killed her. And that was far from the truth.
In fact, Jake was apart of a three-person rescue team dedicated to the rescue of a kidnapped Gabi – who had no one but herself to blame for her predicament!
Ciara (Victoria Konefal) and Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) naturally assumed that Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) was fronting when she claimed to know Gwen (Emily O’Brien), the woman they were desperate to get in touch with. But, as it turns out, Claire and Gwen were besties back in Bayview.
And it was Claire who managed to convince Gwen to come out of hiding and reveal herself to Marlena (Deidre Hall) and John (Drake Hogestyn). So score one for her.
When her attempt to escape failed, Gabi was sure that she would meet her maker at the hands of her captors. Enter Ben and Jake who attempted to negotiate her freedom (and failed miserably) and Lani and Eli who shot all the bad guys. And just like that, Gabi was free to face those charges for poisoning Abigail DiMera (Kate Mansi).
Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) was convinced that if she and Brady (Eric Martsolf) actually slept together it would cement the revenge plan the two had enacted weeks earlier. However, neither she nor Brady could rise to the occasion. He had Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) on his mind and she couldn’t stop thinking about Xander (Paul Telfer).
Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) was sure that he knew the proper way to handle Allie’s (Lindsay Arnold) pregnancy. What he wound up doing was further alienate his heavily-pregnant daughter.
Claire: “My grandpa John worked for the ISA. Back in the day, he was closet thing Salem had to a real-life James Bond.” Okay, no one tell Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy). You know, the actual British chap who also worked for the International Security Alliance. Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
