Days of our Lives Recap: Rafe Lost Custody Of David

The Days of Our Lives recap for Wednesday, June 10, 2020, features the judge making a bombshell decision, Allie surprising Eric and Nicole, and Lucas on the hunt for his daughter.

Rafe (Galen Gering) was blindsided when Justin (Wally Kurth) broke the bad news. He not only lost to Zoey but had to hand over David today. Rafe fell apart and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) took him home to say goodbye to the little boy.

Zoey Took David

Things got ugly when Zoey (Alyshia Ochse) showed up. Hope lashed out and begged Zoey to change her mind. Rafe is the only parent David knows — can’t she see that? She was determined to take David right there and then. Poor Rafe struggled not to cry in front of the kiddo.

Zoey went through the motions of inviting Rafe to visit any time. She thanked him for taking care of him and promised to be the best mother she could to him. Zoey even tried to hug him.

Allie’s Pregnant!

As for homecomings, Allie (Lindsay Arnold) gave Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) quite a few shocks. First, by showing up at their door, then by asking to stay with them. The biggest shock came when she presented her baby bump.

Meanwhile, Lucas (David Dattilo) was on the warpath. He showed up at the DiMera mansion and laid into his mother. How dare she help Allie when he and Sami cut her off? Kate laughed him off until she realized it was serious. Allie used Kate’s credit card to rack up a bunch of charges, including a one-way flight to Salem.

Speaking of Kate (Lauren Koslow), she was still on a mission to get her and Steve (Stephen Nichols) to accept the key to the city. This time, she turned to John (Drake Hogestyn) for help. He agreed and later tried to talk Steve into attending the ceremony.

Kayla and Justin Set A Date

As for Steve, he had a moment with Kayla at the hospital. He showed up to apologize and they briefly reminisced about the past. She again asked him why he got so drunk but he kept his mouth shut.

The meet up left Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) thinking about her future. She and Justin are slated to be married, and soon. But, when? Definitely not July, she and Steve first got married in July.
