Days of our Lives Recap: Rafe And Stefan Had A LOT To Think About

The Days of Our Lives recap for Friday, July 3, 2020, features Allie’s life taking another turn, Stefan struggling with the DNA drama, and Lani finally getting a moment to breathe.

Allie’s (Lindsay Arnold) adoption proposal was great on the surface, but Rafe (Galen Gering) pointed out the problems in her plan. What about the dad? What about Sami? And, was he really up for this? He thanked Allie for thinking of him and went to sort through his emotions.

Adoption Options

Allie went home with dreams of giving her baby to Rafe but had her world turned upside down by Will (Chandler Massey) and Sonny (Freddie Smith). Eric had given them the rundown of Allie’s plans but they didn’t let that stop her from making their own offer. They wanted the baby too.

Stefan’s World Spiraled

Speaking of twists, Stefan (Brandon Barash) struggled with not being Jake, especially after meeting Vivian (Louise Sorel). She was a blubbering mess over having her son back but it was still all too new for Stefan. He didn’t remember him and was done with all this craziness.

Stefan stormed off to the garage only to be bombarded there too. Gwen (Emily O’Brien) was there and she was shaken to hear the DNA results. She demanded he take another but Stefan didn’t see the point. He was a DiMera but all he knew was being Jake and his whole world was collapsing. At least he had her. He clung to Gwen and took her to bed.

Plan B

Back at the station, Gabi and Vivian decided to team up. They need to get to Rolf (William Utay) and knew Viv was the only one who could get through to him. However, she needed out of jail before she could do anything. Can’t Gabi pull some strings with Rafe?

All The Gossip

Meanwhile, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) got the rundown on a whole bunch of drama. She met up with Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and heard all about the wedding, including Vivian’s explosive return. Hope ran right to the station to check on Rafe only to get blindsided by the adoption news. It was a lot to take in.

A Night Of Passion

As for the honeymooners, they came home to a big surprise. Julie had their apartment decorated to celebrate their wedding night. Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey) didn’t waste any of her efforts and turned up the heat to scorching levels. They were finally married and happier than ever before.
