Days of our Lives Recap for June 7
 Comments

The Days of our Lives recap for Monday, June 7, 2021, features luck run amuck in Salem – some of it good, some of it bad, some recipients worthy…others, not so much.

Days of our Lives Recap Highlight

Sami (Alison Sweeney) is determined to prove that the slutty Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) cheated on her saintly brother, but first she had to contend with Ava (Tamara Braun), her rival’s self-appointed guard dog.

Following the women’s surprisingly civil, though still catty exchange – it’s hard to hate on your fellow grandma and potential in-law – Sami finally cornered her quarry. Unluckily for Sami, Nicole came to the battle prepared…thank goodness for dummied up hotel receipts.

A Tale of Woe

After much-exerted pressure from Xander (Paul Telfer), Gwen (Emily O’Brien) finally confessed to being a drug mule….an unwilling drug mule, that is. Xander wanted a more concrete explanation, but he eventually settled for Gwen’s warning that Jack (Matthew Ashford) would be terribly hurt should the truth of the matter be revealed.

News, News, News

Tripp (Lucas Adams) swung by Allie’s (Lindsay Arnold) to tell her all about Jan’s (Heather Lindell) confession to murdering Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) and her entrance into her third coma; Allie, in turn, shared that she and Chanel (Precious Way) were going into business together; all three delighted in slagging off their mothers, but only Tripp and Allie could see theirs committing murder.

Tripp and Allie then discussed their mutual love for Henry and their growing affection for each other. Allie pulled Tripp in for a kiss…then immediately regretted the act. Still, she’d prefer that he stay and chillax with her, rather than head for the hills after that massively awkward moment.

Change Up

Over dinner with Jack, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve (Stephen Nichols) were forced to hear about how much Gwen has changed and grown over the best few months – and neither one was buying what was being sold.

Later, Steve informed Kayla that Rafe and Ava were very much an item and that the latter had offered up a (seemingly) sincere apology for past wrongdoings. Unsurprisingly, Kayla didn’t put much stock in that claim either. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
