The Days of Our Lives recap for Wednesday, May 26, 2020, features Orpheus’s reign of terror continuing. Arresting him and threatening to shoot him did little to bring him down. Sure, he may be going to jail, but not before he had even more fun first.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve (Stephen Nichols) had it out over Orpheus’s (George DelHoyo) arrest and it was not pretty. They even argued about how calm Justin (Wally Kurth) was — until they realized he wasn’t. Orpheus’s gun was missing and they were sure Justin had it. They were right.
Guns and Ammunition
Justin was in the interrogation room losing control. He had the gun on the baddie and threatened to kill him. He wanted justice for Adrienne and everyone else Orpheus hurt. He almost did it too, but couldn’t seem to pull the trigger.
Kayla and Steve barged in and Patch agreed Orpheus must die. He even offered to do the deed. Justin handed over the gun and Steve put it to Orpheus’s head. However, instead of pulling the trigger he hit him with the gun instead. Justin was not impressed.

Orpheus wants’ shot, but Rafe (Galen Gering). The scene at the warehouse went off the rails when Hope and Zoey struggled and the gun went off. Rafe was hit, but thankfully, the bullet lodged in his badge. He was fine and went off to find David.
Zoey begged for mercy. Her dad’s henchmen had her son and were demanding ransom. Hope let her go but she wasn’t happy about it.
A Bombshell Kind Of Day
It was quite a day at John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena’s. It began with Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) announcing their engagement and almost ended with a bang. Hope showed up to give them a rundown f the day and she and John figured out Orpheus’s last trick — the bomb. They found it under the couch and ran it out of the apartment with seconds to spare. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
